What do other web designers in Estonia charge?
In September 2026 Veebimets went through the published prices of 91 Estonian website providers. The table shows the median and the "middle half": the range half of the providers fall into, leaving out the cheapest and the most expensive quarter.
| What | Median | Middle half | Full range |
|---|---|---|---|
| One-page website (landing page) | €450 | €329–720 | €100–5000 |
| Business website | €890 | €600–1300 | €275–5000 |
| Online store | €1495 | €960–2000 | €429–10,000 |

When you compare quotes, check two things:
- Is VAT added? According to the survey, 46 of the 71 business website prices didn't say whether VAT was included. If it's added, a €890 website really costs €1103.60 (Estonian VAT is 24%). LEP's prices are final, because Lepiktech OÜ is not VAT-registered.
- What does the "from" price include? The cheapest offers are often a ready-made template with no SEO setup. Ask whether the price includes custom design, how many pages, the mobile layout and the basic setup Google needs.
For comparison: LEP's landing page (from €390) is below the market median, the business website (from €890) is at the median and the online store (from €1690) is a little above the median but within the middle half. No VAT is added to any of them.
What goes into the cost of a website?
1. Number of pages and structure
A one-page landing page is the most affordable option. Every extra page – services, about, pricing, contact, blog – needs planning, design, content and testing. The good news: those pages are also what bring in visitors from Google, because each one can rank for different searches.
2. Design
A ready-made template is cheaper, but it looks like thousands of other sites and is often slow to load. A custom design is made around your brand and customers. All our packages include custom design.
3. Features
A contact form is usually included in the price. Booking, multiple languages, calculators, customer accounts or integrations with other systems add work, and therefore cost.
4. Content
Texts and images are often the slowest part of a project. If you already have the content, the work is faster and cheaper. If you need help with texts or images, we include that in the quote.
5. SEO
A website nobody can find won't bring in customers. Basic technical SEO – titles, descriptions, structured data, a sitemap and speed – should be part of every website. With us it's included in the business website package.
Running costs
After launch, every website also has smaller running costs:
- Domain – e.g. yourcompany.com, paid once a year.
- Hosting – the server your website runs on, paid monthly or yearly.
- Maintenance – optional, but recommended for WordPress sites: updates and security.
We help set up the domain and hosting or arrange them for you, and tell you the exact costs before work begins.

Website builders such as Wix or Squarespace are cheap to start with, but they come with a monthly fee, limited flexibility and often weaker speed and SEO. And your own time has a cost too. If the website needs to bring in customers, a professional solution usually pays for itself.
How to get the most for your money
- Think about the goal – should the site bring in enquiries, sell or present your business?
- Prepare the content – texts, images and a logo speed up the work.
- Start small – a landing page can later grow into a bigger website.
- Don't skimp on speed and SEO – they're what keep bringing customers years from now.
Summary
In 2026 a professional website at LEP costs from €390, a multi-page business website from €890 and an online store from €1690, with no VAT added.
